The LCT-400 LAN Cable tester can be used to test pin connectivity and short conditions in premade LAN cables or in cables already installed on site. It can be used to test UTP and FTP (Cat 3,4,5) as well as STP (IBM Type cable types 1&6) and RG-58 coaxial cable types. You can also enter predefined cable types for your own custom cables with non-standard pin outs.
