In the UK High Definition (HD) TV via your aerial is now being rolled out across the country.  This is one of the first HD TV Freeview recorders to be released and they are selling fast; with speedy next working (weekday) delivery, you could be up and running in no time.  Everyone wants to get their hands on HD TV without the costs of a subscription service and now you can.

Note the HDMI connector for connection to an HD ready TV and also note the Ethernet connector for BBC iPlayer access and other Internet based TV services to be released soon; these include the recent announcement to access ITV player alongside the BBC iPlayer service.  iPlayer general release in the UK is already available on Freesat and will shortly be on this box too and no extra cost to you.  The receiver also has a Common Interface (CI) for subscription viewing cards such as ESPN.

You will require a Broadband connection to your home for BBC iPlayer access and the programs are available directly from this unit on the TV. No longer do you have to connect your PC to the TV! 

You may want to check out our Homeplug AV devices which allow you to easily connect your receiver to the Internet over your existing household electrical cabling in your home; you simply plug them in and away you go!
