This service is for the Freesat installation only and does not include the Freesat receiver. 

This is installation service is suitable if you have purchased or own two Dual Tuner Freesat receivers and want a satellite dish installed and the receivers connected in two separate rooms.  This service is NOT suitable if you require the connection of Single tuner receivers as this type of receiver only requires a single feed and not a dual feed installation. If you are planning on upgrading to dual tuner products later then you may have this installation type and use it with your single tuner devices until you upgrade.

Installation Option - Summary

• The provision, installation and alignment of a Satellite Dish which is suitable for the reception of the desired satellite services – satellite specific Astra/ Eurobird (Dish sizes 43cm – 65cm Mesh type– Site Specific)
• The provision and installation of standard mounting brackets - Site specific (Wall mount)
• The provision and installation of QUAD output LNB (Universal Type) to facilitate the defined/ agreed number of signal outlets (4) for DTR type operation in (Room 1) and in (Room 2)
• The provision and installation of FOUR (4) surface mounted downlead cables (CAI Bench marked type) up to 15m in length to a suitable position for connection to the customer’s equipment (Digital box/ DTR/ TV with freesat built-in).
• All wall entry holes will be properly sealed against the elements using silicon sealant and appropriate internal/ external weather covers
• The downlead cable shall be terminated in accordance with the STB specification using a durable ‘F’ type cable connector.
• A final assessment of received satellite services (freesat) will be carried out to confirm that the new service (coverage restrictions apply) is operational to agreed levels following the satellite dish system installation.

Approximate call duration on a standard call 60 - 120 mins dependent upon the local situation.
