VeseNET HomePlug Triple Ethernet - 85Mbps - Single Unit

The VeseNET NET-PL-85-3E Homeplug Triple Ethernet Adaptor provides No New Wires communications to any room, over the electricity cables, at the speed of up to 85Mbps. This device is HomePlug Powerline specification 1.0 compliant which means that it is  interoperable with other HomePlug 1.0 devices including the Solwise range.

  • Up to 85Mbps bandwidth over standard home power lines
  • Estimated range of 300 meters in wall power lines
  • No problem for the HomePlug signal passing through circuit breaker
  • 56-bit DES encryption assures data security
  • Encryption done by hardware, with no sacrifice on bandwidth
  • Uses IEEE802.3 computer interface
  • Plug and Play installation
  • HomePlug Powerline specification 1.0 compliant, this means they are interoperable with other HomePlug 1.0 devices including the Solwise own brand.
  • These units are sold as singles, you will require at least two HomePlug devices to create your network.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. I live in a cottage with thick stone walls and wireless reception is a nightmare, even using wireless extenders. Repeated drop outs and low data rates are now a thing of the past. The minor inconvenience of a small spur of ethernet cable to the laptop/device in question is a small price to pay for the enhanced connection speed and quality achievd over wireless. So impressed I'm coming back for another! If only I had seen this device before I ran three ethernet cabes from one room to another to hook up my TV., PVR and BluRay player to the the web. Could have (and now will) route all via this device, the mains and 3 short cable spurs enabling me to rip out the several metre long ethernet cables.
