Bought a pair of these plus a triple outlet. Does excantly what it says on the tin. In our cottage, wireless is compromised by the thickness of the walls resulting in intermittent reception and low data rates even with wireless range extenders (Netgear WGX102). With these, The inconvenience of a short spur of ethernet cable to the connected device is a small price to pay for the uncompromised connection. And after all, I mainly use my laptop plugged into the mains anyway so another short cable is no big deal.
Beware. The Homeplug turbo literature says it is for use in any wall socket. I bought two and plugged them into extension bars, and they did not work. I was subsequently advised by Solwise that extension-bar use is not recommended due to "noise" from other connected appliances. I had no option - only one outlet at each location and many things to plug in. Suggest that the piggy-back type may be more appropriate?
